Jeremiah's Baptism Weekend

Our nephew Jeremiah got baptized this past weekend. He is 5 weeks old now and sure is a cutie! I didn't get any pictures of him or the baptism (Addy and Susanna were both fit to be tied having had no naps!). Jake got to hold him, but I never got a chance.....too many other aunts and uncles and grandparents ;-). They are coming to our place this weekend so maybe I will get a chance then....

Lu Lu, Addy, and Johnny in the wagon.

Making homemade rootbeer. Jake was catching the rootbeer that was "boiling" out. It is "smoking" because you put dry ice in it in order to make it carbonated. It was delicious.

Josh taking a sip.

Johnny was thinking about touching the fog.

Lu Lu was running around with the bat.

Jake was trying to show Addy that there was nothing to be afraid of.

Stacie with Susanna.

Friday night, Roger and Sue gave Lu Lu and Addy a bath together. Here is Roger combing Addy's hair after the bath. I guess the girls had a lot of fun spashing and getting grandma and grandpa wet.

Storytime before bed! Addy picked a really long book....but it is a good one.

Addy decided to snuggle in with Katie, while Katie read her a book Saturday morning.

Grandpa has both girls' attention.

Getting ready to got to the church. Jared and Susanna, isn't she a cutie!

Campfire Saturday night and frog bellies (chunks of dough deepfried in a pan over the fire and then rolled in cinnamon sugar).

Stacie doing the fish face.

Sunday we came home fairly early. We needed to check the garden and pick a lot of stuff. After we got done in the garden it was quite hot. So I had the great idea of filling up the pool for Addy and  for Jake and I to soak our feet while we snapped beans. The water was very chilly, but Addy was stll pouring water all over herself (and us too).

Addy was pouring water on our legs to cool us off.

We also picked plums. Our tree is LOADED.....this is only a handful of what we will be able to pick.

The bowl is my second to largest steel bowl.
