Happy 3rd Birthday to my BIG girl!!!! I can't believe it has already been three years since she was first born and I got to finally hold my precious little baby after a very traumatic birth. When asked what she wanted for her birthday (meaning presents), Addy insisted on a cake (which of course she was going to get). So she got a cake ;-).
Her kitty cake that she helped me bake and decorate.
Three candles....Jake put them close together so she would have a good chance at blowing them all out.
Licking off the candles.
Farm stamp set that she got from her godparents Josh and Christine. They also gave her a prayer book that has the Guardian Angel Prayer in it. We use that at bed time, Addy always reminds us to get it before we start bedtime prayers.
Addy also got princess play shoes (which she requested), coloring books, and a small soft football (which daddy requested :-) from us. We went up into Addy's room to open up presents that night so that we would not wake up Blaise with all the excitement. After Addy opened up her gifts, we decided to play football (throw the ball around and run around). The tissue paper from the presents was still scattered all over the floor. They were having a blast until Susanna slipped on some tissue paper and hit the metal running board of Addy's bed with her face (right between her nose and mouth). A little higher and she probably would have broke her nose....a little lower and she might have broke a tooth. It sure looked painful, the first thing to hit was her face. After lots of tears, some water, and hugs.....5 min later she was ready to play again. She sure is a trooper! Here are three pics of the poor girl (don't worry it is all healed up now).....
Smiling again :-)
A day after her birthday, Addy got a package in the mail from her Great- Grandparents Hayes. She was so excited to get a package in the mail. I love the smiles on her face.
She got a set of dishes with a kitty on it. Now she always has to use her kitty dishes when we eat meals. Addy says "thank you!"
Addy with my boots on.
Susanna with my boots on.....she wouldn't look at the camera.
Whenever we go some where I always have Addy hold Susanna's hand so that I can carry Blaise with one arm and hold Susanna's hand with the other hand. Now the girls like walking around everywhere holding hands.....they are so cute.
Susanna being cuddly after a bath.
Last Friday we went to Fargo for an NFP meeting and banquet. My parents watched the girls all afternoon and evening. When we got back to my parents house Blaise just hung out with my dad while Jake and I unloaded stuff and got settled in for the night.
Our three lovely kiddos.
Trying to get a picture of the five grandchildren.....Leo didn't want to have anything to do with it. Sophia was trying to get him to stay.
Now Sophia is getting serious about getting him into the picture ;-).
The best one of the five.
