Grandpa and Grandma came in the early afternoon on Thursday and stayed until Friday morning. They were passing through to go to New Salem (where Josh and Christine live). They were coming to ND because Grandpa was going Elk hunting Saturday morning north of Josh's place. We had plans of going also on Friday and staying for the weekend but Jake ended up having to work Saturday morning. I was a bummer but we got a lot done around here. And by the way.....Grandpa did get his Elk Saturday morning....it was a six by six. Congrats Grandpa!

Addy loves being outside......she really enjoyed playing in the leaves.
She liked the blow up football that Josiah had brought with.
Josiah played a lot with Oakie. I think they both really enjoyed it......Oakie not normally having an energetic 9 year old to play with and Josiah missing playing with his own puppy Petey (Oakie's brother).

We really enjoyed having them stay. It was fun that Josiah could come with also. We wish we could have spent the weekend with them but we will see them in a couple of weeks when they come to our place for duck hunting.
