We picked the pears and Haralson apples last week. We will get more apples than last year, which is good because we need to make lots of apple sauce. But we got way less pears. There have been more pears dropping after we picked them, but we could not reach them because they were way too high (even with using a ladder and fruit picker).
Pears.......this will give us more canned pears. They are harder to can than the store bought because some of them are rather small. They taste way better though..... no comparison.
Haralson Apples......there are still more on the tree. It was getting too dark to continue to pick and we haven't had time yet to pick the rest. They are so yummy!
Addy practicing to walk with her walker. Before I took the picture she was lifting the walker up trying to get it over her toys. This picture was taken a week or so ago. Before that she wasn't too interested in using the walker or trying to walk without the help of a chair or the coffee table. Now she is trying a lot harder and standing by herself.
